Use:
Sodium isopentyl xanthate is a strong collector used for flotation of non-ferrous metal ores that require strong collection power but do not require selectivity. For example, it is a good collector for flotation of oxidized sulfide ores or copper oxide and lead oxide ores (sulfided with sulfiding agents). It also has a good flotation effect on copper-nickel sulfide ores and gold-containing pyrite.
