The Collector MT-Y89 is a derivative of xanthate, with collecting properties that lie between isoamyl xanthate and butyl xanthate. It is a light yellow powder with an irritating odor that is soluble in water. This collector is suitable for the flotation of non-ferrous metal ores that have high mud content and fine particles, and it performs better when used with dispersants and regulators such as water glass and copper sulfate. It is particularly suitable for the flotation of sulfide ores of metals like gold, copper, lead, and zinc.
